“Florals? For spring? Groundbreaking.” Miranda Priestley’s famed catty retort from The Devil Wears Prada may have some essence to it but designers beg to differ.

We do live in rebel times fashion-wise but the heart wants what it wants, and floral print in spring is about as reliable as day following night.  We’re in a graden state of mind this spring yet again, as we embrace once more the fashion optimism of the floral trend. The spring/summer catwalks delivered an astonishing bouquet of florals. The  trend still continues from previous years with printed pants, mini-dresses, skirts, and everything else retailers can put a flower on. Although the main focus is on the floral print, we can still see floral appliques in the spring/summer 2017 collections.

The 1960s flower power and psychedelic print has hit men’s catwalks as well, as you can admire them on the Mosquino 2017 Spring Summer Mens Runway.

Does this remind you of your grandma’s attire? Well the House of Holland says you’re stealing her style this season and going forward into the past with flowers on top of flowers, catching everyone’s eye.

Models are walking the Dolce and Gababanna runway in extravagant floral dresses paired with flip-flops and pasta printed dresses paired with 3D floral cover-ups.

So once again we see it’s all possible in the current fashion as long as you catch the wave.

If you’re looking to see more floral print outfits head to my lovely friend’s blog and see how she’s rockin’ the flower power this season. Let me know what you think of the trend and see you soon for another one!
