A couple of months ago, I decided to give Kiehl’s a try and I wrote several posts on the topic. I’ve been using these products since and now I can give you an informed opinion on their long-term effect on your skin. First of all, about the Kiehl’s creamy eye treatment: before it, I only trusted Shiseido when it came to my eye area. I’m very concerned about getting wrinkles there because I laugh a lot)) I was a bit worried when I switched to Kiehl’s, I didn’t know if it would be just as efficient when it came to maintaining the area around my eyes moisturized, because that’s the most important thing when it comes to preventing wrinkles there. But, this is actually the first eye cream I’m satisfied with as an alternative to Shiseido! It keeps the eye area just as moisturized throughout the day, but it costs less and it has more organic ingredients. So, I recommend it with a clear conscience!

Now, the Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Overnight Hydrating Masque. Its long-term effects are also great, as long as you don’t apply too much! The sales consultants will tell you to apply it generously. Well, that my dears, leads to pimples! And some of my readers have related to me on this issue, so my advice is this: apply very little mask to your face, just as you would apply foundation. Then, you should be just fine! Just a little bit of this mask will ensure a hydrated baby skin in the morning and you’ll be saving at the same time. So, it’s a win-win situation.

Now, about the Butterstick Lip Treatment. While it feels good on my lips, I went totally wrong with the color. It’s got an SPF of 25 plus Coconut oil and Lemon Butter which is great but, the thing is I went with the Touch of Berry color, and it’s too bright for me, so I almost don’t wear it at all. Untinted or Naturally Nude are the shades I would go with now if I bought it again. The Butterstick wears off easily so you’ll have to apply it over and over throughout the day but it’s rich and moisturizing, like I said, feels good on my lips.

So, that’s the review of the Kiehl’s products I bought in the beginning of winter, after about three months of use. Let me know if it was useful and keep coming back for more!
