I’ve been away for a short while, sorry about that…I’ve been road tripping through Europe and I’ve been enjoying it. Going away is one of my favorite things to do, no matter the purpose. So, I’m in Austria for a day and I’m googling the places to see and what grabbed my attention was Hangar-7 in Salzburg, a museum owned by Red Bull founder Dietrich Mateschitz to whom by the way I own my ability to stay awake through 2000 km of driving.

It’s hosting a collection of historical airplanes, helicopters and Formula One racing cars, and serving as home for the Flying Bulls, a private aircraft fleet stationed in Salzburg. It also houses the Michelin starred restaurant Ikarus, two bars and a lounge. It’s all very nice and high-class there, I recommend visiting that place, especially if you’re a fan of cars and planes and stuff. Me, I just wanted to look around and maybe take some pics for a new fall outfit that I now submit to your judgement and consideration, my friends. So, the outfit in this post stemmed from this Liu Jo denim skirt with a gypsy flair to it, that I couldn’t help buying, although it’s a bit weird and I didn’t know what to do with it at first. Then, at a Spanish shoe brand store called Desigual, unknown to me before, I found these denim “a little bit country, a little bit exotic” shoes that were perfect for the outfit. And what I really find exciting, is mixing expensive, designer items with really affordable stuff like this top that I got for ten euros in a store where you literally had to make yourself a path through the clothes in order to get to the racks. What I put together here is an all-blue outfit, pretty casual, which you can adjust to office wear or a night out by changing the top to a shirt or something more elegant. But be careful about the colors you match as navy blue is a pretty pretentious color and taking into consideration the pleated lace on the skirt, if you chose the wrong color for the top you risk entering the “sorry I don’t own a mirror” zone 😊
