It might not be groundbreaking, but floral fabric for spring is still one of the most popular choices. It’s on the runways every year and it perfectly embraces the #summermood. Elegance, feminity and simplicity define the floral print spring dress (similar here and here). It’s light and sober at the same time, which makes it good for all occasions. It’s got expression, modesty and sex-appeal and I’m sure you understand what I mean when I say that simplicity is the ultimate sophistication. In this case, I chose my favorite below the knee skirt length. I paired it with lace combat boots and a golden multi-layered choker. Flower print dresses have a way of being impressive irrespective of their length. So, when choosing your dress, be mindful of your height. Below the knee skirt length will always visually make you shorter. I can afford this dress length, since I’m quite tall, 1.75 to be precise 🙂 If you’re petite, I recommend opting for a full length skirt or a mid-thigh one. Heels also make a nice match with the flower print dress, but I wanted to get some distance from the classical look, so I opted for the flat combat boots in lace (similar here and here), which makes them more delicate and therefore a match for this dress. The golden Simona Barbieri choker is a nice finish to the look. Although the statement pieces of this look are the boots and the necklace, it’s the dress that does the work “behind the curtains” and makes this look what it is.
