One of my favorite brands when it comes to elegance preserving the touch of originality is Ted Lapidus. Their selection surprises me every season as I never go out of their boutique empty-handed. If you’re having one of those very lady-like days, yet you’re not keen on looking as if you’re headed for a Buckingham Palace dinner, then I suggest you check this brand out. I, myself like elegance. As Chanel said, it never goes out of style. Elegance has modesty as one of its main components and modesty always arouses seduction (and that’s what we’re all secretly after, right?). Still I avoid conservatism at all costs.
“Do I ever do anything right?” you ask…of course, sometimes…men truly in love usually try so hard that the laws of probability wouldn’t have it any other way. But then, there are days like this one when you get it all right…
I did not want to kiss you goodbye-that was the trouble, I wanted to kiss you goodnight. And there is a lot of difference. Ernest Hemingway
Since my Italy story appealed to you so much, I decided to stick to the topic. Basically, the day following my arrival, Alina took me to the showroom. I must admit I was a bit anxious as I did not know what I was going to see there and I could never in a thousand lives put on an outfit that is not in tune with my soul.
A woman must carry elegance with every state of mind she’s in. The world hates weepers so if you’re ever sad, you be elegant about it. If you’re ever in an autumn state of mind even if it’s spring outside, if you ever gaze into the waters of a river and feel like getting on that boat towards Tranquility Base, remember to take your authenticity with you. I say if you want pure elegance, you wear black.
